An accident on Cedar Lane near Amherst Avenue at approximately 2:40 a.m. on Wednesday sent the driver to a nearby hospital in serious condition, according to Montgomery County Police (MCP).
County officers and Fire and Rescue personnel arrived on the scene following the report of a vehicle collision.
According to a preliminary investigation. a black Ford Thunderbird traveling south on Cedar Lane struck an unoccupied parked white Ford Bronco. The impact overturned the Bronco onto its roof as it collided with an unoccupied Ford F-150.
The driver of the Thunderbird was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
MCP notes this is an active and ongoing investigation.
